Governments and public institutions now collect massive volumes of heterogeneous data from social media, IoT sensors, administrative databases, and online surveys. This article examines analytical methods used to leverage these data in decision-making processes, including descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. Special attention is given to machine learning techniques, network analysis, and simulation models. The article presents a systematic review of existing approaches, a comparative analysis of analytical methods, and a discussion of technical, ethical, and organizational challenges.
